Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes Favorite Food Guide: a Cooking Battle cheat sheet and all Recipe locations
If you want to get every character in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you’ll have to eventually go through Kurtz’s story in order to meet and recruit Celia. The trials and tribulations of our resident chef is not easy because numerous assassin chefs are after him. Overcome each Cooking Battle with this guide.

When you start a Cooking Battle, four of your current pool of recruited characters will be randomly selected to serve as judges. You will be able to serve three dishes (appetizer, main dish, and dessert) and after each dish is sampled by the judges, they will give a score of 1 to 5. Whichever chef receives the highest score after all the dishes have been sampled and scored, they will be the winner.
Since each set of judges are randomized every time a Cooking Battle contest begins, there isn’t a select set of dishes that will always consistently win each one. The only thing that will remain the same are the dishes that the opponent chef will serve; each Cooking Battle opponent always has the same three dishes they’ll serve. That’s why a viable strategy is to exactly copy 1-2 dishes of what they serve and substitute one that you’re confident will score highly if you’re having trouble.
When selecting the three dishes you want Kurtz to serve, refer to the favorite foods list down below to see what every hero loves to eat! It doesn’t matter where you slot these foods as the appetizer, main dish, or dessert as long as they’re part of the line-up.
There are many recipes that Kurtz will learn over time as you progress the game and overcome Cooking Contests. Plus, a lot of recipes will be found throughout the game though some of them are tricky to find. Therefore, we’ve put a link on foods that have a discoverable recipe, so you immediately jump to where that specific Recipe can be found.
