Developer Playground Games and publisher Xbox Game Studios have revealed that Fable is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) in 2025. It will be coming to Game Pass on Day 1. A brand-new trailer for Fable shown at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 event shows first gameplay coming to the action RPG.

After several comedic cinematic clips, the player’s customizable Hero is shown roaming around a field environment and a city briefly. A magical skill pops three enemies into the air and the main character picks them off one-by-one with a bow and arrow as they float into the air helplessly.

Another brief clip shows an execution fo an enemy with a sword and another enemy higher up is taken care of with a thrown projectile. 

Eidos Montreal has announced on X/Twitter that they are assisting Playground Games with the development of Fable.
