In her most recent post online, Hina mentions that, in order to win the battle against cancer, she has opted to let go of her beautiful hair before it begins to fall out due to treatment. She chose to let go of her crowning glory because she did not want to go through the apparent mental breakdown that would occur over the next few weeks. She also adds that, while her hair is her crown, the true crowns are her courage, power, and love for herself. She goes on to say that she has decided to use her own chopped hair as a wig during her treatment phase. In another online post, Hina mentions how she found out about her cancer diagnosis on an award night and chose to normalise it. She adds that she went for her first chemo session immediately after attending the award function.
