Supergiant Games has shadowdropped the Hades II  on PC (Steam, Epic) in Early Access today. A technical test was conducted for the hotly anticipated action RPG sequel several weeks ago. Hades II marks the first sequel in the history of Supergiant Games that also entered Early Access in 2018 and fully launched in 2020.

In its FAQ for Hades II, Supergiant Games expects the title to remain in Early Access “at least through the end of 2024”, though they don’t have a specific end date at this time.

They mentioned that Hades II, even in its currently Early Access state, has “more environments, foes, and fully-voiced characters than the full version of the original Hades game.” Even then, the developers have said they will continually add new areas, characters, enemies, events, and more throughout the Early Access period of Hades II.

Currently, the Early Access of Hades II is priced at $29.99 USD. Supergiant Games notes that the price may be raised at a later point, depending on the scope of additional content they add to the sequel overtime.
