Display Specifications, design and more
According to the report, the Moto G 5G (2024) is expected to sport a 6.5-inch screen, mirroring the size of its predecessor, the Moto G 5G (2023). Similar display specifications are hinted at with the 2023 model boasting a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 269ppi.
Leaked images also reveal a redesigned back panel for the Moto G 5G (2024), featuring a rectangular camera module reminiscent of the Moto G 5G (2023). However, the purported 2024 model showcases more rounded corners. The back panel houses a camera module with two vertically placed circular units and an oblong LED flash unit. Additionally, the front camera is centred within a hole-punch cutout at the top of the display.
The report further details the size difference between the Moto G 5G (2024) and its predecessor, measuring 164.4mm x 74.9mm x 8.2mm compared to the older model’s 163.94mm x 74.98mm x 8.39mm. The leaked images highlight the placement of the volume rocker and power button on the right edge, a SIM tray on the left edge, a singular mic at the top, and a bottom edge housing a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille. Stay tuned for official confirmation and more details as the rumoured launch date approaches.
