Nothing will launch its first over-ear audio wearable, the Headphone 1, on July 1 alongside the Nothing Phone 3. While the company has yet to reveal official features or specifications, recent leaks have disclosed the expected price and available colour options, indicating a premium positioning. The headphones will be released not only in the UK and Europe but also in North America.

According to a Dealabs report, the Nothing Headphone 1 is expected to be priced at EUR 299 (around Rs. 29,700) in select European countries and GBP 299 (approximately Rs. 34,700) in the UK. The over-ear audio wearable is likely to be available in black and white colour options in these regions, aligning with the brand’s minimalistic design language.

In the US, the Headphone 1 may come in black and grey, with the white variant possibly omitted. Pricing could be set at $309 (roughly Rs. 26,700), though a separate leak suggests a slightly lower price of $299 (around Rs. 25,700). The headphones are also expected to launch in Canada, and sales in North America could take place via Nothing’s official website as well as major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.

Additionally, Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently hinted that the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 could be priced around EUR 800 (approximately Rs. 90,000), marking a significant jump from the Phone 2’s Rs. 44,999 launch price in India. Speaking on The Android Show: I/O Edition, Pei indicated a shift toward a premium pricing strategy. However, with the Phone 3 set to be manufactured in India, there’s a strong possibility that domestic pricing could be more aggressive than its global counterpart.
This raises the key question: how much will the Phone 3 actually cost in India? While a dramatic price hike seems unlikely for the Indian market, a price tag around Rs. 60,000 appears more realistic. This would place the Phone 3 in direct competition with flagship devices like the iPhone 16e, iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy S25, and OnePlus 13, suggesting Nothing is aiming to establish itself firmly in the premium smartphone segment.
