Redmi 13C Series Lands In India Boasting 50MP Camera, 5,000mAh Battery; Check Out Price And Specifications

Fulfilling its promise, Redmi has officially launched the Redmi 13C 4G and Redmi 13C 5G models in India. While the 4G variant made its global debut last month, the 5G model is first hitting the Indian market and is slated for a gradual global rollout. Boasting an identical design, both phones showcase a waterdrop notch for the front camera, dual cameras encased in circular rings, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

Redmi has unveiled the pricing and availability details for the Redmi 13C 5G, catering to various budget preferences. The 4GB+128GB variant is attractively priced at Rs 10,999, with the 6GB+128GB model available for Rs 12,499 and the higher-end 8GB+256GB version at Rs 14,999. Positioned as one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in India, sales for the 5G model kick off on December 16th at 12 noon IST, accessible through Amazon,, and retail stores.

Meanwhile, the Redmi 13C 4G offers an even more budget-friendly range. Priced at Rs 8,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs 9,999 for the 6GB+128GB option, and Rs 11,499 for the 8GB+256GB model, it provides an array of choices to consumers. The 4G model’s sale begins on December 12th at 12 PM IST, and it will be available through, Amazon, and Xiaomi retail stores. To sweeten the deal, the company is offering a Rs 1,000 instant discount for purchases made via ICICI Bank cards. The handset is available in Black, Green, and Purple color options, providing users with both affordability and variety.

Both the Redmi 13C 4G and 5G models share a feature-packed 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, offering durability and resilience. Additionally, the display is certified for low blue light and flicker-free performance.

Under the hood, the Redmi 13C 4G is driven by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, while its 5G counterpart is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Both models offer versatile performance with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card. Notably, they also support extendable RAM, enhancing overall efficiency. In the camera department, the Redmi 13C 4G boasts a triple camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and an Auxiliary lens. On the other hand, the 5G variant opts for a simpler 50MP dual-camera setup, maintaining a focus on quality captures.
