Samsung Offers Early Access To Stable One UI 7.0 On Galaxy S24 FE Through Remote Test Lab

Samsung has just rolled out the stable version of One UI 7, built on Android 15, alongside its latest flagship phones, the Galaxy S25 series, at the much-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month. This update brings some exciting new features and improvements that will enhance the overall user experience. And while the update is already available on the S25 series, users of older models like the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S24 FE don’t have to wait long to get their hands on it.

Before the full public rollout, Samsung is giving Galaxy S24 FE users a chance to virtually test out One UI 7.0 through its Remote Test Lab (RTL). The RTL, launched in 2021, is a platform that allows developers to remotely test apps on actual Galaxy devices. Now, with a Samsung Account, users can sign up to try out the new One UI 7.0 on the S24 FE. The firmware version is АРЗА 240905.015 A2 S721BXXU3BYA2, with the January 2025 security patch included.

For those eager to experience the update firsthand, this virtual preview is an exciting opportunity. However, some users on Reddit have pointed out that certain features, like the Audio Eraser and Now Brief options, are missing from the update. Additionally, the battery health feature doesn’t seem to be appearing. These issues might be addressed in future patches as Samsung continues to refine the software.

With the release of the Galaxy S25 series, which comes with One UI 7 preinstalled, Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the exact timeline for when other eligible devices will receive the update. However, it’s expected that the Galaxy S24 series will be among the first to get it, likely within the first quarter of 2025. Samsung has a strong track record of delivering timely updates, so users can expect the rollout to happen sooner rather than later.

One UI 7 promises several improvements, including a refreshed user interface, enhanced performance, and better integration with Android 15’s core features. Samsung has put a lot of effort into making the software more intuitive and smoother for users. As the Galaxy S25 series is already running a stable version of One UI 7, future updates should bring even more enhancements to the platform.

While Galaxy S24 FE users can already get a taste of One UI 7 through the Remote Test Lab, the full rollout will take place in the coming months. As more devices receive the update, users can look forward to an even better, more feature-packed experience with their Galaxy smartphones.
