Allegedly, some scientists at OpenAI made a breakthrough with a new model, Project Q*, that could solve basic mathematics like a high schooler. So what’s the big deal? Ain’t their similar tools that can just do that? The difference is that while many apps are programmed to solve, an AGI can solve the same without any external training. It can theoretically comprehend, assess, reason, learn, communicate, and solve problems at par with humane intelligence. NLP (natural language processing) is considered to be a barrier in creating AGI. Has OpenAI made a breakthrough here?
