Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co., Ltd., aka Xpeng, a Guangzhou-based company, launched its first EV, the XPeng G3 SUV, in 2018. As of 2024, Xpeng and Volkswagen have entered an agreement to jointly develop electronic and electrical architecture technology. 
In 2024, the company also unveiled its first humanoid IRON.
